What is Space Ore in Broken Blade?
Space Ore was added with the Reforge the Yamato update alongside Red Orbs, Space Invaders, and the Space Shop. It functions like other upgrade ores — slot it into a weapon at the forge for permanent stat bonuses.
Important: We previously listed Space Ore stats (+40% Damage, +40% Katana Damage, etc.) that came from secondary guides without a confirmed primary source. Perplexity cross-check found no crawlable public wiki with a full Space Ore stat table. The BloxInformer materials wiki lists Holy, Frost, Thunder, and others — but not Space Ore. Stats below are corrected to reflect what is actually verified.
After forging Yamato, also push Soul Forge levels (Katana Pieces), Katana Mastery, the new Master Quest, and Altars (+10% Damage, +380% Health account-wide per AllThings.How).

Why sources still call it "best for Yamato": Even without a confirmed stat table, multiple guides describe Space Ore as covering every stat a Katana build wants — and it pairs with the Space element Yamato is designed for. Use Holy/Frost/Thunder as confirmed mid-route alternatives until you can verify Space Ore numbers in-game.
